Dublin weather: Met Eireann predicts another bright day for capital with best of it along the coast

Those of you who are basking in the spring sunshine will be glad to know the sunny spells are sticking around.

That is according to weather forecasters over at Met Eireann , who are predicting a bright day with little or no rain.

They said of Thursday: "Any frost patches will clear this morning to leave a mostly dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells.

"The best of the sunshine along the coast. Highest temperatures ranging 10 to 13 degrees in light southerly or variable breezes."

As for Thursday night, it will be mostly dry with just a few foggy patches.

The weather gurus continue: "Thursday night will be mostly dry with some clear spells. Winds will be light variable or southeasterly with some mist or fog patches forming Minimum temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees."

Tomorrow looks good too, with Met Eireann saying of Dublin's climate: "It looks set to be mostly dry on Friday with good spells of spring sunshine, the best of the sunshine along the coast once again.

"Maximum temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate southeasterly winds."

Saturday isn't looking too bad either - especially on the east coast, with the bureau's national outlook suggesting more sunshine for Dublin , even if the West gets rain.

Their national outlook for Saturday says: "Current indications suggest it will be rather cloudy in Munster and Connacht on Saturday with the chance of rain in Atlantic coastal areas.

"However, elsewhere across the country it is expected to be remain dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 in moderate to fresh southeast winds.

"On Saturday night, rain is expected to develop across much of Munster and Connacht but it will stay dry elsewhere.

"Minimum temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees in brisk southeasterly winds."
