Dublin Weather: It's a dry, sunny day - but Met Eireann is forecasting rain and plunging temperatures tonight

We're all set for a mild, dry day in Dublin - but it could all change this evening.

After a chilly start with some mist, fog and frost around the place, Met Eireann is forecasting a dry day in Dublin with sunny spells and highest temperatures of 10C to 13C.

Dublin and the east coast will feel the chill more than the rest of the country, however, with light to moderate easterly breezes.

Minority groups welcome garda decision to allow turbans and hijabs as part of uniform

Tonight, however, that all looks set to change. The forecaster said: "Tonight will start off dry. However outbreaks of rain and drizzle will develop later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees."

Meanwhile Monday looks set to be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of light rain or drizzle with highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees - again, it'll be coolest along the east coast, so don't ditch the scarves just yet.
