Dublin Weather: Ireland to see drastic jumps as Met Eireann predicts freezing -1C temperatures AND 16C highs

Dublin weather is on the up! But Met Eireann have warned it could go as low as -1 tonight.

The good news is tonight's chilly temperature comes at odds with the rest of the week as we can expect highs of 12-14 degrees and clear sunny spells throughout.

Sun worshippers will be feeling optimistic as we could even hit 16 degrees come Thursday.

Met Eireann said: "Dry today with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees in light westerly winds.

Tonight will be dry and cold again with lows between -1 and +2 degrees and some frost inland in near calm conditions.

"Tomorrow Tuesday will be generally dry with spells of sunshine in light westerly winds. Highest temperatures will be 12 to 14 degrees."

Keeping with the theme, the forecaster also warned Wednesday night could also drop into the sub-zero temperatures - but we'll see a slight increase in daytime mercury readings.

They said: "Wednesday will be dry and fairly sunny. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees, with highest values in the southeast, in light westerly breezes.

"Wednesday night will be cold again with lowest temperatures between -1 and +5 degrees. A slight frost is likely in Leinster and Munster."
