Happy weekend everybody!
Oh, who are we kidding? There's no such thing as weekends anymore, this is just day 5465 of doing absolutely nothing.
But lucky you because you get to do that absolute nothing while the sun splits the stones outside on the hottest day of the year in the capital.
The mercury will rise to 18C today but be warned, temperatures are set to drop to a cold 2C by the end of the weekend - just what you need before an already bluer-than-normal Monday morning.
Here's the forecast outlook for today and into next week:
Saturday : "Today will be mainly dry with any mist or fog gradually clearing and sunny spells developing. Through the afternoon and evening, a few showers may develop in the south of the region. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with light variable breezes.
"Tonight will be dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.
Sunday : "It will be mostly cloudy. The morning will be mainly dry with perhaps a few bright intervals. Through the afternoon and early evening there'll be outbreaks of rain or drizzle, becoming dry by nightfall. A cooler day with highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees and light variable or northerly breezes.
"Sunday night will start off mostly cloudy in south Leinster and Munster with some rain or drizzle, which will gradually clear to the southeast. Colder, clearer conditions will follow from the northwest. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees."
Monday: "It will be cool and bright with sunny spells and some scattered showers, these mainly over the northern half of the country. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees with light northerly breezes, coolest in the north and warmest in the midlands. Monday night will be quite cold with perhaps some frost in Ulster."
They added: " Tuesday will be cool and bright with sunny spells and with showers developing in the afternoon, mainly over the western half of the country. highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with light breezes becoming mainly southeasterly. During Tuesday night, persistent rain will develop in the south and begin to spread northwards."
Wednesday : "Rain will extend northwards to all areas and may be heavy in places. Showers will develop in the south later. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees with moderate easterly winds, later decreasing light variable breezes."
They continued: " Thursday will be cool and breezy with sunshine and showers and moderate northwesterly winds. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees.
" Friday will bring sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees with light, variable breezes."
Next weekend : "Current indications suggest that next weekend will be unsettled with rain or showers at times."
