Dublin weather: Good news as Met Eireann forecast 20C+ temperatures for week ahead

Hello sunshine my old friend….

It's a gorgeous Monday morning in Dublin and Met Eireann forecast another fine day ahead with “good sunny spells” and temperatures doing their best to get to the magic 20 number.

There is a mention of isolated showers throughout the day, but they’re only given a “chance” by the weather experts.

They add: "in light to moderate northwesterly or variable breezes".

Tonight

Generally dry with clear spells this evening, the weather experts continue, while suggesting that “some mist and fog patches will develop" overnight.

Cool with minimum temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees, with those light winds having shifted to a light southwesterly or variable in direction.

The pollen forecast for the next two days is moderate, but the solar UV index his high today and high “in sunshine” tomorrow.

Speaking of Tuesday, there’s more good news ahead.

Met.ie says that Dublin “tomorrow, Tuesday, will be dry with good sunny spells”.

How to keep your pets safe in hot weather

They continue: "Highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly breezes.”

A quick glance over to the meteorological maestros at Accuweather confirms that temperature for tomorrow but adds that the "real feel" in Dublin will be 21C.

Like the sound of that?

Thought so....

.... And it gets better:

National outlook

The State weather bureau's national outlook for the week ahead makes for largely pleasant reading, with the mercury expected to sit between 17 and 21C degrees right up until Sunday.

The only possible blot on the horizon is that we may see rain later in the week, with drizzle first rearing its soft wet head on Wednesday night before clearing off on Thursday evening, Met Eireann continue.

The weekend is still ages away, but here's what the cloud gurus reckon: "Some uncertainty for the outlook but current indications for the weekend suggest that the rain will slowly push eastwards on Saturday during the day with most areas dry by evening.

"Some further outbreaks of rain and drizzle expected on Sunday. Maximum temperatures of high teens to low twenties."
