Hot, sunny days are returning to Dublin this week as Met Eireann has forecast a staggering four days of temperatures above 20C+.
From today right up until Saturday will see the mercury rise to as high as 22C as the whole of the country returns to those crazy May-like temperatures that we had gotten so used to.
Wednesday will start off mostly cloudy and rather misty in the morning with rain and drizzle.
But long dry spells with develop as the day progresses with warm and sunny spells possible.
Temperatures of 21C will drop to as low as 12C overnight remaining mild and humid and largely dry throughout.
And whatever weather we get today, it will remain like that for the next forty days thanks to Saint Swithin - worth keeping that in mind.
Here's how the next few days are looking:
Tomorrow: "Thursday will start mostly cloudy and misty. The cloud will gradually break during the afternoon allowing for some warm sunshine to develop. Top temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in moderate west or southwest breezes."
Friday: "Another mostly cloudy day across west Munster, Connacht and west Ulster with rain at times and highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees. Elsewhere, it will be mostly dry with a mix of cloud and bright spells with highest temperatures of 19 to 22 degrees. Winds will be light or moderate, southwest in direction. On Friday night patchy rain will extend nationwide. Minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees."
Saturday: "Patchy rain is expected to clear southeastwards early on Saturday to leave a bright day with sunny spells and just a few passing showers. Feeling fresher with highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in moderate westerly breezes. It will be largely dry overnight apart from a few showers in the northwest of the country. Cooler than in preceding nights with lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in light breezes."
Sunday: "A dry and bright start on Sunday but cloud is expected to become rather extensive by afternoon and some showers will affect the west and northwest of the country. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in mostly moderate southwest breezes. Generally dry on Sunday night but with a few light showers drifting eastwards in moderate westerly breezes. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees."
Next Week: "Early indications are for high pressure to build close to Ireland next week bringing a good deal of dry weather. However, cloud amounts will be variable and a few showers are likely."
