Temperatures are set to soar to as high as 19C in Dublin today with plenty of sunshine expected in the capital.
The fine weather looks set to continue through to tomorrow, with highs of 18C.
But the weather is set to become unsettled as the weekend approaches.

Met Eireann say the weekend will be "unsettled" with some rain expected.
The forecaster says: "Some bright or sunny spells, but a good deal of cloud overall, with scattered showers and more persistent rain at times.
"Dry intervals also. Winds on Saturday will be light to moderate northerly, decreasing light northerly or variable by Sunday. Max. 13 to 18 C."
The good news is the sun looks set to return early next week, with highs of 20C predicted.

Officials added: "Current indications suggest that it will become warmer, with temperatures of 20 degrees of more in places, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"A good deal of dry weather also, with sunny spells and light winds, but some scattered showers are likely."
