It looks like the kids will have one more glorious sun-drenched weekend to look forward to before heading back to school.
Temperatures are set to soar above 20C this afternoon and the fine weather is set to stick around until at least Monday.
Afternoon temperatures will reach 21 to 23C with mainly moderate southwesterly winds which will ease up later.
The mercury could hit as high as 24C on Saturday with good sunny spells expected.
And Met Eireann predict the fine weather should stretch into the early part of next week.
The national forecast says: "Sunday will be mainly dry with sunny spells.
"Temperatures will range between 18 and 22 degrees the best in the east, and winds will be light northwest or variable in direction.
"Temperatures will fall to between 7 and 10 degrees on Sunday night and it'll stay mainly dry and a little fresher.
"Monday will be dry and sunny with temperatures between 18 and 22 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes.
"Tuesday will see cloud increasing from the west bringing rain in to Atlantic counties later.
"Current indications for the further outlook is for a mainly westerly wind and a spell of rain likely for Wednesday but drier and warmer again for Thursday."
