A mainly dry and sunny day is ahead for Dublin today, as we start the week in pleasant conditions.
While we can expect some scattered showers at point, temperatures will reach 16C at points so it's sure to be nice.
There will be more of the same heading into Tuesday, but then a change is coming with more rain set for the capital.
By the end of the week things are expected to become more unsettled so prepare yourself.
Met Eireann says: "Today will start off mostly dry, with bright or sunny spells, but some scattered showers will develop during the day. Winds will be light northerly or variable and temperatures will be 15 or 16 degrees at best.

Even so, Friday will bring the dry conditions once again before things more unsettled on Saturday.

With light variable winds, highest temperatures will reach 15 to 18 degrees. Later in the day, cloud will increase from the Atlantic with outbreaks of rain developing in Western parts and then the rainy weather becoming more widespread overnight.
"Thursday will bring showers or longer spells of rain with a rainbelt stalling over the country. Some Northernmost parts may stay drier and it may also brighten in the Southwest later. Highest temperatures 15 to 17 degrees with light variable winds.
"Friday looks like a drier day for most places with patchy rain dying out and a few brighter spells developing in light to moderate Northerly winds.
