Thursday is set to be another miserable day in Dublin as it's bombarded with cloud and mist.
There will be rain in the morning but it will gradually die out and be followed with short sunny spells.
As the day goes on, however, the country will be hit with scattered showers.
It will be fresh and cool with top temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees but the mercury will plummet to as low as 3 degrees in the night time with heavier showers moving in.
And if you thought the weekend was going to get any better, you'd be wrong.
Friday will see heavy and thundery falls of rain with some spot flooding in places.
In the UK, the Met Office has issued a 'danger to life' amber weather warning today ahead of what is expected to be a washout weekend.
The Mirror.co.uk reports heavy rain will pound the north of England this morning as forecasters warn of flooding between Edinburgh and the English border.
Torrential downpours are expected to end by 3pm although experts are urging people to be careful of fast-flowing floodwater.
Yellow warnings are also in force for much of north England, south Scotland, north Wales and north-west England, with downpours potentially causing further flooding in these areas.
The UK has seen heavy downfall in the last few days, with much of the country hit with thundery showers and rain.
