Dublin weather forecast: Met Eireann says there's another sunny and warm day ahead as temperatures reach 15C before weekend cold drop

Another sunny and warm day is set for Dublin as we can expect temperatures of up to 15C.

There will be some haze, and clouds are going to appear in the sky.

But it's a fitting end to the week that saw temperatures peak at 16C.

The weekend will start cloudy and while Saturday will be mainly dry, we can expect some drizzle.

Met Eireann reveals when temperatures will reach 16C in Dublin before they drop to 1C overnight

Met Eireann says: "Any inland fog clearing quickly. Fine and dry today with light winds. A little hazy sunshine, but mostly cloudy. Highest temperatures 13 to 15 degrees.

"Mainly dry tonight. Misty. Little or no wind. Minimum temperatures 4 to 6 degrees.

"Cloudy tomorrow. Dry apart from the odd spot of drizzle. Light winds. Highest temperatures 12 or 13 degrees.

"Saturday night will be dry and clam, but cold with a widespread sharp ground frost.

As the weekend ends and the new weeks begins, conditions are about to become colder.

Sunday while bright and dry will be a cool day with temperatures in single figures.

By Tuesday it will be cold with blustery showers settling in, and it'll be changeable heading toward the end of the week.

Here's what to expect:

Sunday

A bright and dry day with variable cloud and sunny spells. A cool day with afternoon temperatures in high single figures. Winds light and variable. A slight ground frost may form on Sunday night.

Monday

A dry start, but rain developing in the west during the morning will spread east to all parts during the day. After a calm start, southwest breezes will freshen with the rain. It'll continue cool.

Dublin weather forecast: Met Eireann says temperatures to reach 16C during sunny day for the capital

Tuesday

A distinctly cold day with fresh gusty northwest winds. There will be some sunny spells, but with passing blustery showers too - most frequent across the north and west with the risk of hail. Temperatures at best ranging only 6 to 9 degrees.

Wednesday

Little change. Staying cold and breezy, but good sunny spells will occur too. Showers will be more confined to northern areas and winds will ease.

The latter part of the week will continue changeable, but it will be somewhat milder.
