Dublin weather forecast: Met Eireann predict 25C on Friday with THUNDERRAIN but what is it like for the Bank Holiday in Ireland?

Met Eireann has said that Friday will be another scorcher for Ireland as temperatures reach highs of 25C.

There will be mist and fog patches in the morning but they will clear to leave warm and mostly dry weather.

The nighttime will be cloudy but there will be outbreaks of rain with possible risks of thundery bursts.

Looking to the weekend, Bank Holiday Saturday will be dry in most areas at first but there is the risk of showers with some becoming thundery too.

Temperatures will be 22C, dropping to as low as 11C with further outbreaks of rain in the nighttime.

Sunday will be bright with sunny spells especially in Dublin but the showers will still follow close behind.

There is a slight risk of thunder once again with temperatures hitting a max of 23C, dropping to 10C at night but remaining dry overnight.

Bank Holiday Monday will be dry in many areas but there is a possibility that showers will turn heavy once again with the risk of thundery downpours.

This burst of rain could lead to spot flooding in many areas but temperatures will remain high throughout at 22C for the day.
