Dublin weather forecast as Met Eireann says wet start to turn to sunshine and 21C temperatures ahead of stunning weekend conditions

A wet start to Thursday morning in Dublin but don't worry it's going to get better.

The clouds and rain are going to clear and make way for warmer temperatures and sunshine.

We can expect temperatures to reach 21C across the capital, and conditions are going to become humid.

There won't be much of a dip overnight either, with temperatures only dropping to 13C at their lowest.

Met Eireann says: "Cloudy and damp this morning but drier conditions will develop from the south gradually throughout the day. Becoming warm and humid with highs of 18 to 21 degrees in fresh southwest winds.

"Dry and humid overnight with lows of 13 or 14 degrees. Moderate southwest breezes."

Friday will see plenty of sunshine heading into the weekend, with temperatures expected to reach 23C.

Then the weekend will bring lovely weather with a warm and sunny day on Saturday.

Temperatures will hit about 23C, and it's going to get even warmer on Sunday.

Then there will be 24C temperatures on a warm and sunny day.

As for next week - current indications are that it will start off warm, but rain will arrive by Tuesday or Wednesday.
