Dublin weather forecast as Met Eireann says wet start to the day will clear and give way to drier conditions

Another wet start to the day as the June rain continues in Dublin.

But it's better news than yesterday as pretty soon the rain will clear up and give way to a drier day.

While we can expect a little bit of rain later, it will be nowhere near as bad as yesterday.

Temperatures are expected to reach 15C and as we head into the nighttime it will be generally dry and clear.

Met Eireann says: "Any early rain will soon clear and it will be generally dry and getting brighter through the morning time.

"The afternoon will be bright with sunny spells but also with some scattered showers which will continue into the evening time. Highs of 12 to 15 degrees in northwesterly breezes.

"Tonight will be generally dry and clear overnight with the odd shower. Lows of 3 to 5 with occasional fog patches."

As for the rest of the week and then the weekend, we can expect more of the same with a mixed bag of sunny spells and rain showers with temperatures peaking at 17C.
