Dublin weather forecast as Met Eireann says temperatures to reach 15C but we can expect some rain ahead of pleasant Bank Holiday weekend

It's a bright start to Thursday morning in Dublin, and we can expect temperatures to reach 15C today.

We can expect some rain at parts today in the capital, with showers becoming more frequent and heavier as the day goes on.

But for the majority, the weather will remain quite dry.

There will be a slight dip in temperature starting from tomorrow.

Dublin weather forecast as Met Eireann says there's rain on the way before pleasant Bank Holiday weekend with 'anticyclonic conditions' bringing the sunshine

Met Eireann says: "A bright and sunny start to the day with the occasional shower. The showers will become a little more frequent and heavier through the day but there will continue to be a lot of dry weather. Highs of 11 to 15 degrees in light to moderate northwest breeze.

"Becoming dry and clear overnight with lows of 4 or 5 degrees. A few mist and shallow fog patches will form in the almost calm conditions."

Friday will be mostly dry and bright with temperatures as high as 11C.

As for the Bank Holiday weekend, we can expect pleasant 12C temperatures throughout.

Although the temperature will be a bit on the lower side, very little wind is expected.

A good amount of sunshine should ensure that the May Bank Holiday will be perfect for any plans you may have.
