There's good news on the horizon, as the morning cloud in Dublin is set to turn to sunshine and high temperatures.
After an evening of spicing up Croke Park and a day of taking the votes to the polls , Dublin will bask in glorious rays.
It will be a cloudy start to the day, but conditions will clear and Met Eireann are saying that we can expect 20C temperatures.
And when the sun shines, the mercury could even reach the low 20s in what should be a lovely Saturday.
Met Eireann says: "Rather overcast at first Saturday with patches of light rain or drizzle. Overall dry though with the cloud starting to break later in the afternoon and a few bright or sunny intervals developing.
"A humid day with top temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius, but possibly touching the low twenties under any longer sunny breaks. Southwesterly breezes light to moderate in strength.
"Outbreaks of rain will gradually move eastwards across the country tonight, heaviest across Atlantic counties. Relatively mild and humid with lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees Celsius, in a freshening westerly breeze."
Things will get a little bit lighter on Sunday, with temperatures maxing out at 17C.
It will still be a nice sunny day, with some scattered showers expected in parts during the day.
There will be a bit of wind, so conditions will be slightly fresher than the days before.
As for next week - it'll be unsettled at first, but Met Eireann says it looks like it will get warmer as the week goes on.
