Dublin weather forecast as Met Eireann says 26C temperatures set for the capital following wet and windy end to the weekend in Ireland

A windy but dry start to Monday morning in Dublin, after a pretty wet and gusty end to the weekend.

It looks like we're not going to get much, if any, rain today in Dublin as temperatures are expected to reach 26C.

Met Eireann is saying that it's going to stay dry and we can even expect sunny spells throughout the day.

It's already pretty warm, so expect that to continue.

Met Eireann says: "Dry today with a mix of cloud and warm sunny spells. Highs of 24 or 25 degrees in a moderate and at times gusty southwest breeze.

"Dry tonight with variable cloud cover. Lows of 14 or 15 degrees in light to moderate southerly breezes."
