Dublin weather forecast as Met Eireann predicts 24C temperatures to finish week before Bank Holiday brings more rain and cloud to Ireland

The sun is shining this morning in Dublin and it looks like we're in for a nice day.

There will be plenty of sun sticking around, although there may be hints of cloud.

Temperatures are going to be as high as 23C and we can expect some light breezes throughout the day.

As for tonight, it's going to stay nice and dry though temperatures will take quite a dip and drop as low as 10C.

Met Eireann says: "Dry again today with good sunshine at times but cloudy periods also. Highs of 20 to 23 degrees in light breezes.

"Dry and mostly clear overnight with lows of 10 to 12 degrees."

Friday looks like it's going to be more of the same, and a nice end to the week with temperatures as high as 24C.

As for the Bank Holiday weekend, Met Eireann warns that rain is set to make an appearance on Saturday though the heaviest will be away from Dublin on the west.

Sunday will see some more showers but plenty of sunshine too, while Bank Holiday Monday is signalling for a change.

We can expect more cloud forming and heavier rain to arrive although temperatures are still expected to be in the low to mid 20s.
