Dublin weather as All-Ireland final replay day set for 22C temperatures but warm sunshine to turn to cloud by evening according to Met Eireann

The All-Ireland replay final is here, and Dublin is warming up ahead of the competition against Kerry.

The capital is set for glorious 22C temperatures today, and warm sunshine throughout in a brilliant start to the weekend.

But things are set to get cloudy as the day goes on, right on time for the headliner at Croke Park.

That won't deter our Boys in Blue though as Jim Gavin's men aim for five-in-a-row.

Met Eireann says: "A fine morning with any early mist clearing to leave long spells of hazy sunshine.

"Further spells of warm sunshine during the afternoon but with cloud gradually edging in from the north. Turning mostly cloudy during the evening.

What to do if you get sunburn

"Top temperatures ranging 19 to 22 degrees in moderate southwest winds.

"It will be mostly cloudy overnight with a few patches of rain or drizzle moving in. Minimum temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in moderate southwest winds."

Sunday is set for a bit of a turn, though we have our fingers crossed that it's just a temporary blip on a weekend of celebration.

There will be more cloud tomorrow with a bit of a drop of temperature but it shouldn't deter anyone from enjoying themselves.

Met Eireann continued: "Sunday will be a mostly cloudy day with occasional outbreaks of rain but good dry periods also. Maximum temperatures ranging 15 to 17 degrees in mostly light, variable breezes."
