Dublin v Kerry GAA: Footage emerges of waterboy doing something cheeky to distract attacking Dub player in final seconds of All-Ireland Final

Footage has emerged of a waterboy appearing to do something extremely cheeky in order to distract an attacking Dublin GAA player in the final few seconds of Sunday's All-Ireland final.

The clip has been circulating heavily on social media in the hours following Kerry and Dublin's tight 1-16 a piece showdown.

The Dubs bid for an historic five in a row was halted as Kerry battled back to draw with the current champions who were down to 14 men for majority of the game.

Tensions were still high going into the final seconds and as Dublin went in search of a winner and hogged the touchline, a waterboy appeared to squirt one of The Boys in Blue with water from the bottle while they were on the run.

Five of the seven minutes of added time had been played by the ref when the cheeky incident is alleged to have took place and although it was only something small, it left Dubs fans absolutely raging.

One fan said: "Was giving out about this and had the Kerry man in front of me turn around saying it’s only a bit of water! It’s bad sportsmanship and absolutely pathetic."

Another added: "He should be reported, there is no need to do something like this."

A third commented: "If this was the other way around, there would be outrage in the media."

The scramble for tickets begins again as both teams clash heads with each other for a second time on Saturday, September 14, at 6pm.
