Traffic is unusually heavy across the city this evening with long delays reported on several commuter routes.
It's very heavy outbound on the Chapelizod Bypass from past St Laurence's Road and through to The Oval.
On the M50 it is slow northbound between Junction 11 Tallaght and Junction 9 Red Cow while southbound traffic is moving well.
There are delays of 20 minutes on all northbound DART services after a man held up a train by refusing to let the doors close .
Outbound on Long Mile Road is busy from Walkinstown Road junction out to the Red Cow Interchange.
The Walkinstown Road is also quite slow itself towards the Long Mile Road.
The Navan Road is slow outbound from Old Cabra Road through to Baggot Road junction.
