Dublin traffic LIVE: Lights out at major south Dublin road leading to delays

Motorists are advised to approach Bóthar Katharine Tynan and Old Belgard Road with extreme caution where traffic lights remain out of action.

The lights are not expected to be repaired until later this evening.

Elsewhere, the M50 is slow northbound from Junction 12 Firhouse to Junction 7 Lucan.

Southbound, it’s busiest from Junction 16 Cherrywood to Junction 5 Bray North on the M11.

Delays are reported on the Chapelizod Bypass outbound from before the Kylemore Road slip to The Oval.

Sean Moore Road is very busy northbound from the Beach Road junction to Tom Clarke Bridge.

Leaving the city, it's busy on the Swords Road between Drumcondra and the Collins Avenue junction.

It's also slow on Collins Avenue itself.
