There are reports of two crashes on the N11 - with AA Roadwatch warning of big delays in the area.
The traffic watchdog says on its Live Blog: "There is a collision on the M11 northbound after J16 Wicklow North in the right lane. Traffic is slow for almost 4km on approach.
Gardaí are at the scene, while AA Roadwatch adds that there is also a crash on the southbound side between J6 Bray/Fassaroe and J7 Bray South, with some delays both ways on approach.
Elsewhere, there are delays on the M4 from before J7 Maynooth to J5 Leixlip.
Meanwhile on the dreaded M50, it's busiest southbound passing J7 Lucan, the AA advise.
In town itself, Guild Street is already slow from Seville Place through to Samuel Beckett Bridge.
Not too far away, there are delays on Amiens Street and Gardiner Street to Beresford Place.
