Dublin traffic lights out as power cut hits city centre

Traffic lights in the south of Dublin city centre are out of action because of a power cut affecting the Dublin 2 and Dublin 8 districts, the city's traffic management authorities tweeted.

Among the signals affected were the ones at the junction of Hatch Street and Earlsfort Terrace.

ESB tweeted to confirm there was a power cut and said its workers were trying to repair the fault as quickly as possible. Updates are available on https://powercheck.esbnetworks.ie.
