Dublin takeaways: The six most delicious things to order this Valentine's weekend

Haven't decided which of the many Dublin takeaways you're going to order from this weekend?

In fairness to you, it's hard to choose with such a vast selection on offer.

That's why every week for the past few weeks, we have rounded up a handy list of the best Dublin takeaways to order from and this week, our hearts (and bellies) desire is excitement, passion and spontaneity.

After all, the most romantic day of the year is approaching.

Here are the six most delicious Dublin takeaways to order from this weekend.

Kerala Kitchen

One of the most popular Indian takeaways in Dublin (and for good reason), Kerala Kitchen has restaurants on Baggot Street and in Stoneybatter. Inspired by the light coastal flavours of Kerala in South India, the menu consists of aromatic curries, biriyanis, baked-to-order naans and grills straight from the tandoor.

Janet's

One of the many delicious foodie delights available at Eatyard at The Bernard Shaw in Phibsboro, Janet's serves up a fine menu of dumplings that are packed with flavours you'll fall in love with.

It's available to order via Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

Dublin Pizza Company

Doing exactly what its name would suggest, Dublin Pizza Company serves up some of the most delicious takeaway pizza in Dublin.

Located on Aungier Street, this spot offers fresh, wood fired pizza inspired by the authentic flavours of Italy and is available to order through their website.

Cafe Sicily

Nobody does romance like the Italians and since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, we thought it was only appropriate to include plenty of Italian fare in this week's list.

Cafe Sicily on South Anne Street is an authentic Italian patisserie which serves cakes and pastries, and is available to order via Deliveroo.

Brother Hubbard

Located on Capel Street and in Portobello, Brother Hubbard is a super popular spot for weekend brunch and midweek lunch, and it's also available to order to your home via Deliveroo.

Expect a menu of Middle Eastern inspired fresh dishes, many of which are vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Tadka House

Another entry for Indian cuisine here because, well, it's hard to find flavours and colours as exciting and unique.

Tadka House, located in Rathmines, Blanchardstown and Greenhills, specialises in healthy dishes that don't compromise on flavour.

Using traditional herbs and spices, this place promises an Indian dining experience true to the country that inspired it, and one you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
