Dublin streets shut down as protesters take Baby Trump blimp for evening stroll

Some of Dublin's streets have been blocked this evening due to the sighing of a giant inflatable baby president.

The infamous Baby Trump blimp has made it's way to Dublin today and was blown up at the Garden of Remembrance before taking to the skies.

The blimp comes as the Donald Trump makes his way back to Doonbeg after taking part in the D-Day remembrance ceremonies in France.

At the time of writing Parness Sq East is currently blocked - but the protestors are expected to make their way down O'Connell St.

The demonstration is expected to go on until around 8pm with commuters being told to check ahead in case their buses are being diverted.

The Stop Trump Ireland Coalition have lined up a number of events including one in Shannon earlier in the week and others in Galway and Belfast.
