Dublin star Michael Darragh MacAuley in Concern appeal for world's poorest during coronavirus pandemic

All-Ireland winner Michael Darragh MacAuley is urging the public to think about the world’s poorest people during the pandemic.

The Dubs ace and ambassador for Concern Worldwide told how many now face the double threat of Covid-19 and an increase in global hunger.

He said: “Most are in survival mode as it is and it’s terrifying to think about what this pandemic will add.

“They are relying on all of us for help. Without urgent support, Covid-19 will never end and the poorest will pay the highest price.”
