Dublin sister duo launch baby clothing range designed to expand over two sizes

A Dublin sister duo has launched an innovative toddler clothing collection which is designed to expand over two sizes.

The Grow collection offers practical yet stylish options and a more sustainable approach to childrenswear.

Sophie Cafolla and Dr Vicky O’Dwyer launched the lifestyle brand The Stork Box originally by providing a box of necessities for babies when they are born and have now ventured into the world of children’s fashion.

The Stork Box t-shirt, leggings, and cardigans grow with each baby and toddler.

The t-shirts have adjustable arm lengths and can be worn as a long sleeve or a short sleeve top.

And leggings from the Grow collection have three adjustable leg lengths as well as an expanding waistband.

Sophie Cafolla, The Stork Box Co-founder said: “Parents are looking at ways of being more sustainable. The Grow collection is both economically and environmentally better because The Stork Box are aiming to save on wasteful producing.”

The average cost of a child’s first year is over €14,500 in Ireland, a survey from AA Life Insurance found.

And the average spend on baby clothes in the first month of a baby’s life is €243, figures from VP social justice for budgeting.ie revealed.

The Grow collection aims to help parents reduce their spending on baby clothes.
