Teeling Whiskey has added to its list of accolades by claiming the honour of “World’s Best Irish Whiskey” across four categories at the 2021 World Whiskies Awards, announced yesterday.
The Dublin-based distillery is well-known for bold and experimental releases and collaborations, a trend established from their foundation in 2012. This approach seems to be working, as they picked up the following awards:
- 28-Year-Old Single Malt - Best Irish Single Malt (21 years and older)
- Blackpitts Peated Single Malt - Best Irish Single Malt (No Age Statement)
- Single Grain - Best Irish Single Grain
- Stiggins' Fancy Small Batch Plantation Rum Collaboration - Best Blended Irish Whiskey Limited Release
The World Whiskies Awards is an annual celebration of the very best in whiskies from across the globe.
