Dublin's newest music festival Eastbound kicks off tonight - here's what to expect

Dublin's newest music festival kicks off tonight - and it promises to bring the best breaking artists to the capital's favourite haunts.

The Sound House, The Workman’s Club, The Grand Social, Whelan's and The Button Factory are just some of the iconic venues that will host Eastbound music festival, which takes place from 7-12 May.

Tonight will see performances from Lion and special guests New Pagans, The Snuts and special guests The Valves, Whenyoung and special guests Emerson Snowe, Halfnoise, Uly Maisie Peters and A. Smyth.

Who are the support acts for Westlife, when are they playing Croke Park and how can I get tickets? 

The event boasts some top class emerging talent with up to 30 artists and bands showcasing their sounds over the course of the weekend.

It's also great value for money with all tickets priced at €13.00 inclusive of booking fee from ticketmaster.
