A bloody new feud reared its head in west Dublin this weekend as two well-known families kicked off their local war in vile and loud fashion.
Exclusive footage obtained by Dublin Live on Sunday showed a woman whose head was ensanguined during the raw row in Corduff which took place in the front garden of a family estate.
Dublin Live understands that the gory Blanchardstown brawl between the woman, a man and four others is the start of a split between two well-known families which has been bubbling underneath the surface for weeks during lockdown.
A source told Dublin Live: "On one side of the feud, one of the members is well-known to Gardai and appeared in court over a huge drugs operation in west Dublin a number of years ago."
The source added: "The family are understood to have been involved in other local feuds in the area in previous years and are also well-known to Gardai.
"The other family involved is also well-known in the area but have no notable run-ins with the law."
It is not yet understood what the fight started over but Gardai are said to be investigating the incident.
In the video, the woman can be seen being pulled away from the garden, blood streaming down her face, while a dispute seems to continue on behind them.
Coming back into the scene, she's struck with a weapon in the torso as a lad roars "I'll f*****g kill you".
The dispute continues as insults are hurled from across the cul-de-sac, with the woman now even more bloodied.
The man on her side then appears to try to get her back into the house.
