Introducing Dublin's most useless burglar in history who was caught red-handed by Gardai during his attempted break-ins.
The wannabe thief targeted north Dublin homeowners this morning, much to the terror of those living alone or families with little kids.
Several people spotted the failed thug on their CCTV after hearing suspicious activity as he tried the age-old break-in trick of trying people's doors to see if anyone had left their front or back entrances unlocked.
As you could imagine in this day and age, everyone had their doors bolted shut and alarms on, but the persistent pr...person continued on before eventually his - luck? - ran out.
One resident managed to catch the bungling would-be burglar on camera when he was caught in the act by officers who had been called out to deal with the man.
As the photo shows, the poacher hadn't really thought about his escape plan, only relying on a bicycle to flee the scene if successful.
One resident said: "This dirty little tramp is going around checking all the doors around here.
"He tried our house here just after 3am. Pure toerag, be careful people."
Dublin Live has contacted Gardai about the incident.
