Dublin's Marker Hotel put up for sale with asking price of €125 million

One of Ireland's top hotels has been put up for sale with an incredible asking price of€125 million.

The Marker Hotel, at Grand Canal Dock, Dublin has been put on the market by owners CBRE Hotels.

The five-star property includes 187 guest bedrooms (including 18 Executive Rooms and three Suites), the ground floor Brasserie and Marker Bar, Spa facilities, the Marker Rooftop Bar and Terrace and extensive conference and banqueting facilities.

The hotel also has full planning permission to add an additional 60 guest bedrooms and a new rooftop bar and brasserie that will trade all year round.

Paul Collins, Head of Hotel Investment Properties UK & Ireland, CBRE Hotels, said: “The sale of The Marker offers an exceptional opportunity to acquire a luxury hotel, free of branding or management, which provides a purchaser with flexibility and a range of options for future asset management initiatives.

Houses for sale for less than €40,000 in Ireland

"Since its opening in 2013, the hotel has established itself as a true landmark in the city and has played host to a myriad of celebrities, politicians and business people.

"The very valuable planning permission to increase the bedroom count to 247 keys will further improve the already strong trading performance of the hotel.”

The Marker benefits from a wealth of corporate guests due to its close proximity to the headquarters of a number of multi-national giants.

Facebook, Google, AirBnB and Salesforce all have offices nearby while the hotel is also a short walk from the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
