Dublin's John Small appeals for info after becoming second Dublin player in as many weeks to have his car broken into

Dublin footballer John Small has appealed to Twitter for information after becoming the second inter-county star in as many weeks to have his car broken into.

His teammate Michael Darragh MacAuley's Subaru Forrester was broken into and stolen, but recovered after the Ballyboden man appealed for information online.

But the star Dublin midfielder's car with his laptop inside, has been taken from Portobello while the 33-year-old was playing.

The former Footballer of the Year took to Twitter to try and get his car back.

"Had my car stolen from Portobello on Saturday night while I was playing a match," MacAuley tweeted.

"Laptop etc. inside. If anyone sees a black 182D Subaru Forrester with Dublin Stickers about, let me know. Not ideal."

And Small is hoping the same method will now assist him after money and personal belongings of his were stolen.

"My car was broken into outside my home in Drumcondra last night," Small wrote on Twitter.

"They took some money and personal belongings which were important to me.

"If anyone saw anything suspicious please let me know."
