Dublin's first ever Tiki bar to open its doors this weekend and it looks amazing

Dublin’s first ever Tiki bar is set to open its doors this Friday.

An exotic and contemporary take on traditional Tiki rum bars, ‘Ohana is set to make waves in the the capital’s nightlife.

Located on Harcourt Street, the new bar offers over 300 rums with some of the finest selections including the premium Chai Rum from Trinidad and Tobago.

Visitors will also have the chance to try a great range of classic cocktails and drinks with a strong focus on the use of Irish spirits like Slingshot Gin, Glendalough Whiskey, Kalak Vodka, Tullamore Dew XO, and many more.

Tiki bars are based on Polynesian culture and ‘Ohana means “family” (did someone say Lilo and Stitch?) in Hawaiian culture.

‘Ohana creative operator, Doug Leddin, said: “We have had so much fun creating ‘OHANA, and I know we have some of the best staff from all corners of the world as part of our new family here.

“We all love what we do and hope that is evident in the individual experience our customers will find here. This isn't just another "premium" bar opening in Dublin.

“This is a fun and creative space where we can experiment with new cocktails, rum blends, spirits and so much more, while always changing with the demands and trends of our customers”.
