The staff of a city centre restaurant were delighted after Hollywood star Maya Rudolph left a heartfelt note.

The Wine Country actress has been enjoying her time in the capital while filming the sequel to Enchanted with Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey in Ireland.

Maya dropped into Juanitos Drury Street where she left a lovely note to the staff after enjoying her meal.

It read: "Reka - What a pleasure to meet you! Tell Luca and Lauren I said hi!

"Love, Maya Rudolph (From Wine Country)"

The restaurant shared a picture of the note with the caption: "It was an honour to meet Maya Rudolph in Juanitos Drury Street today!

"She is an amazing actress, love her movies! Maya Rudolph, thank you for your autograph and thank you for dining with us."
