Dublin residents prepare for second night of violence as rumours circulate of 'revenge teen fight' organised by 100-strong girl-led gang after war

Dublin residents are now fearing for their lives as rumours have started circulating about a "revenge teen fight" organised by the huge, young girl-led gangs who caused havoc in the area at the weekend.

Exclusive footage, given to Dublin Live, was taken in a quiet Swords estate as the "100 teen group animals" terrorised locals "kicking lumps and killing each other".

The organised evening brawl is said to have taken place between the estate of Berrick and Ormond near Swords Manor at around 9pm on Sunday where the youngsters were said to be "killing each other" by those who caught them on camera taking over the roads.

And now, a feared "revenge fight" or second organised clash between the groups is being rumoured among locals in the area who brace themselves for another night of violence.

One local said that a community text alert had been sent around warning people that there was rumours on social media of another fight on Friday evening.

They said: "Gardai have been alerted that there are rumours of a revenge fight this Friday evening.

"Keep your teenage kids safe, just in case anything kicks off this week.

"Hopefully it's called off or turns out to be untrue, lets hope it is."

An eye-witness who came across the brawl on Sunday told Dublin Live that the scenes were frightening.

They said: "I sent out a text warning parents that if anyone had teenagers hanging around to try and get them in.

"There was about 100 teens between Berwick and Spar who were after kicking lumps out of each other."

In the video obtained by Dublin Live, the person behind the recording describes the gangs as "animals" adding that there is a "tonne" of them.

They say: "Look at these lot killing each other. They're all over the road, the wallys.

"There's tonnes of them. Animals, kicking lumps out of each other."

The eye-witness added: "Apparently a group of about 100 were between one of the parts of the estate.

"They were walking all over the road and they were drinking too I think.

"I've lived in the area my whole life and I've never seen any of these kids before.

"I called the Gardai myself but I fear that there will be more scenes like this".

Dublin Live has contacted Gardai about this incident.
