Dublin has been announced as one of the most sexiest and sex-obsessed cities in the world.
A new list released by Big 7 travel ranks the Irish capital in the top ten in a list that takes into consideration; Cities having the most sex, best city for single people and all round sexiest nationalities in the world.
Big 7 travel asked for the opinions of their 2.5 million readers to determine the sexiest cities in the world and they decided that Dublin was eighth in the world, beating off close competition from Los Angeles and Liverpool.
Cap d'Agde in France and Zurich in Switzerland nudged ahead of Dublin on the list with South Africa's Cape Town and Copenhagen in Denmark breaking into the top five.
Paris was sandwiched in second place between US hot spots Miami which came out on top on the list and Denver which took third place.
A survey a couple of months ago organised by Onepoll.com found that the Irish accent was the sexiest in the world and stated that it was all thanks to a Dub.
A spokesman for OnePoll said that Castleknock native, actor Colin Farrell, was one of the main reasons why the Irish were number one on their list.
They said: “High-profile stars such as Colin Farrell have helped bring the accent more to the fore."
