A Dublin punter has nabbed almost €19,000 from two tiny bets that only cost a total of €2.
The whirlwind win came from bets made on both the EuroMillions draw and the Plus draw.
The anonymous bettor placed a small €0.50 accumulator and a €1.50 treble. The €0.50 wager faced mammoth odds of 33,000/1 and the ambitious customer needed all of 14, 18, 23 and 29 to roll out of the machine in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
The second bet was in the main draw with numbers 7, 12 and 25 selected for the €1.50 treble and in a matter of minutes, the 1,500/1 odds were smashed.
They then walked away with €18,752 with the €0.50 accumulator landing a massive €16,500.50 and the €1.50 treble returning €2,251.50.
