Dublin pubs: Popular Sandycove bar The Eagle House is up for sale

A well-known pub based in the heart of Glasthule village has been put up for sale by private treaty.

The Eagle House, which is located in a densely populated area of the coastal, Glasthule village, is on the market for €2.8 million.

The pub is situated over two stories and includes a ground floor bar with a rear outside area at the back.

The first floor currently acts as a 90-seater restaurant and is currently occupied by Rasam restaurant on a long-term lease which will not be affected by the sale of The Eagle House.

Other facilities include a car park with spaces for 24 vehicles.

The Eagle House is the latest in a long line of pubs in Dublin that have gone on the market in recent times.

The likes of Ryan's of Store Street and the family-owned Concorde pub in Kilbarrack are just some of the most recent to hit the market.

There's also been a number of closures over the past 18 months due to Covid-19 with Dublin losing 33 pubs in total.

These include the Sackville Lounge, Lanigan's, Dice Bar and Hill 16.
