A new bar that recently opened in The Liberties has decided it's time to spice up your life with their Spice Girls themed brunch.
Jackie's Bar, which opened a few weeks ago, has been delighting the 90s babies of Dublin with their themed cocktails, decor and now, with a special brunch dedicated to one of the most legendary musical acts to come out of the decade.
The venue has been posting teasers of the experience to their TikTok account, giving 90s music fans a taste of what they can expect.
Visitors get glasses of bubbly with their chosen Spice Girl written on the side, so you and your pals will have to decide who is scary, baby, posh, sporty and ginger. The tables are also decked out in Spice Girls merch and confetti, and you can get bottomless drinks for €30.
What's on the menu is simple yet delicious fare, such as pizza and bar bites.
After you've dined and had your glasses of fizz, it's time to try your hand at the retro games in the bar such as the claw machine.
Jackie's Bar screams 90s nostalgia, especially with its cocktail menu in the form of an Aisling copy book. Expect drinks like the Solero Pornstar, Long Island Barry's Tea, Flat 7-Up Punch, Sour Apple Chewits and Pikachu Lemondrop. There is even a Calpol cocktail.
To complete the experience, Jackie's also blares throwback anthems and plays Italia 90 on the TV screens.
With all of this and the decor that literally screams "Some people say I look like me da", it would be fair to assume that Jackie's is a treat for any Dub who grew up in the 90s.
