The annual Bar of the Year Awards have been announced and eight Dublin pubs have scooped up big at the ceremony.
Judges travelled the length and breadth of the country to sort out the heated competition from hundreds of bars in Ireland.
The winners of all the categories were revealed at a gala awards ceremony on Monday 19th August.
The ceremony took place at the Clayton Hotel on the Burlington Road and was hosted by Newstalk's Tom Dunne.
'City Bar of the Year' was handed to Café en Seine while The Sidecar Bar at The Westbury Hotel won 'Hotel Bar of the Year' in the five-star hotel category.
Knights Bar at Clontarf Castle took home the 'Gastro Bar of the Year' award while 'Live Entertainment Bar of the Year' went to The Workmans Club.
In the 'Late Bar/Nightclub of the Year' category, Opium Club came out on top while Buskers On The Ball was crowned the 'Best Bar to Watch The Match'.
The last two Dublin places to come out on top in their categories were The Virgin Mary Bar who took home 'Innovative Bar of the Year' with 'Wine Bar of the Year' going to Piglet Wine Bar.
