Dublin has been named among the cities around the world with the most pubs per person.
The results of research, which would come as rather unsurprising for most Dubliners, revealed that Dublin ranks number eight on the list with 19.98 pubs per 100,000 people.
The study by money.co.uk analysed the number of bars and clubs listed on Tripadvisor for each global city, with reference to the city's population, to determine the total number of bars and clubs per 100,000 people.
Taking the top spot is Prague in Czech Republic with a staggering 47.87 per 100,000 people.
Following that is Las Vegas with an impressive 41.89 per 100,000 people.
The rest of the top ten on the list is made up by Orlando (40.06), Edinburgh (34.29), San Francisco (27.03), Amsterdam (22.56), Krakow (21.83), Dublin (19.98), Miami (18.41), and Tallinn (16.82).
No other Irish cities were included on the list.
That wasn't the only pint related list Dublin nabbed a spot on as the Irish capital claimed the 14th spot on the list of the highest average beer consumption annually per capita.
Taking the top spot yet again for this was Prague with 144 litres per person, followed by Warsaw and Krakow with 127 litres per person and German cities Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin with 107 litres per person.
The average Dub apparently consumes an average of 93 litres of beer per year, beating cities like Luxembourg, Reykjavik and Brussels.
Data for the countries with the highest beer consumption was sourced from Statista.
