Dublin pubs: 6 hidden bars waiting to be discovered

If you're planning a night out in the city centre, it's easy to head somewhere you've been loads of times. You know it's good and you always have a fun night.

But what if you want a new experience, but you're not sure where to go? There are a number of bars in Dublin you've probably sauntered past many times without realising what was inside. So, let us show you.

Here are six hidden bars you should go to in Dublin.

Vintage Cocktail Club

You'll find this place discretely tucked away behind a door in Temple Bar. Taking inspiration from speakeasies of the 1920s, Vintage Cocktail Club's menu features an array of carefully crafted, award-winning cocktails. Simply ring the doorbell to discover what lies behind it.

Liquor Rooms

Located on Wellington Quay, The Liquor Rooms is found by descending down a narrow staircase. Once you're at the bottom, there's a stunning setting to enjoy some seriously swanky cocktails.

Blind Pig

Another speakeasy prohibition bar, The Blind Pig can be found on Suffolk Street not only serving great cocktails but also stellar food.

Library Bar

Exchequer Street is one of the more bustling areas of the city centre, so things can be easily missed. One thing you won't miss is the Central Hotel, but located inside is a gorgeous bar you may not have been aware of, featuring oversized comfy chairs and a huge fire.

Stella Cocktail Club

You are likely more than familiar with The Stella Cinema in Rathmines. But did you know that upstairs, they have a fabulous cocktail club featuring a stunning glass atrium, stylish ambience and a top-class cocktail list.

The Bar With No Name

Like the name would lead you to believe, this bar is pretty well-hidden. So much so that it doesn't even have a name, sort of. Other bars on Fade Street will have punters spilling out onto the street but to enjoy the craic at The Bar With No Name, you'll have to make your way up a flight of stairs. Once you're up there, you'll discover couches and spacious seating areas, as well as a lovely outdoor area.

The Hacienda Bar

With high, white stucco walls, you're not going to expect what's inside when you walk through the door of The Hacienda Bar on Little Green Street.
