Dublin pub lovers have been given some great news this afternoon as beloved city centre pub Grogan's are bring back their toasties this Thursday for free.
The hugely popular pub's toasted sandwiches have been absent since the Covid-19 shutdown closed the pub in March.
But they are being brought back for absolutely nothing this Thursday and, with temperatures set to hit 22 degrees in the capital, one of those toasties with a takeaway pint will no doubt go down a treat.
"We know how much everyone has been missing our famous toasted sambos over the last few months, so we have a little surprise for you!" they announced.
"This Thursday from 1pm, we will be doing FREE TOASTIES from our door for a few hours!
"Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces."
The South William Street staple have previously joked about making a hilarious new menu as they prepare to open on June 29.
The joke menu included a Niore Manhattan Steak Au Fromage as well as Malted and Hopped Ganache.
The pub tweeted: "In preparation for pubs who serve food being allowed to open on 29th June, we've put a little something together. See you all on the 29th."
In case anyone was confused, they added: "Just to clarify, this is purely a joke. We could never desert our beautiful toasted specials."
