Dublin private school students allegedly mock bisexual classmate in video chanting 'for he's a jolly good f****t'

This is the video which shows a gang of up to ten students from a private Dublin school allegedly mocking one of their classmates who had just bravely come out as bisexual.

In the clip, which was posted on social media, the teens can be heard chanting "for he's a jolly good f****t" repeatedly in a similar style to the well known song 'for he's a jolly good fellow' with one of the young men in the video visibly draped in a rainbow-coloured flag - a symbol of the LGBTQ movement.

Dublin Live understands that the group behind the video are not friends with the boy in question who had come out as bisexual and that the clip was not posted in support behind his decision to come out about his sexuality.

One student told Dublin Live that they were left shocked after viewing the video and said that the issue needed to be highlighted.

They said: "The people behind this video are by no means friendly or friends with the boy who has just come out.

"The whole school is in shock over this. And it's something that needs to be dealt with quickly."

They added: "This type of thing is such a pressing matter that tends to get overlooked in all schools with minimal effort and support being put in place to help those of the LGBTQ community."

Dublin Live has contacted the school on several occasions regarding the video.
