Dublin priest comes up with genius social distancing solution by hearing confessions in car park

One West Dublin priest has come up with a clever way to keep up church business and maintain social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The snap of the priest shows his ingenious setup as he has confession booths set up in the church car park in St Mark's Church in Tallaght.

Two chairs a safe distance away are placed under a cross as the priest hears confession from a woman in a pink coat.

A snap of a sign also revealed that confession was on offer twice daily, from 11am-12pm and 3-4pm.

The church also offer livestreams of mass on their Facebook page, where they advertise confession going ahead - but only if the weather allows!
