Dublin pizza lovers take note!
The 50 top pizzerias in Europe have been revealed – and one of our fair city's foodie favourites has made the top 10.
PI Pizzas on George Street was voted seventh in a list of the best 50 pizza places across Europe for 2019 - ahead of prestigious joints in Paris, Naples, Berlin and Amsterdam.
Here's 9 of the best spots for a few post-work pints Dublin city centre
The top spot went to a restaurant named L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele in Naples, which is widely credited as being the birthplace of pizza.
Tourism website Big 7 Travel combined scores of votes from with their 1.5million users and a panel of expert food judges to find Europe's best slice, from traditional family-owned trattorias to trendy pizza joints.
Their list description for PI Pizzas reads: "They call themselves 'wood fired pizza fundamentalists' and judging by how wildly popular this restaurant has been since opening you can see people voting with their feet.
"A buzzy room, some great craft beer and a pizza that tastes as if it landed from another planet in terms of flavour."
