While Level 5 measures look set to continue into May and beyond, the Irish public can surely take some comfort in knowing that the pubs won't stay closed forever.
For the best part of year, the Irish public has been unable to visit some of their favourite watering holes with the majority of pubs last opening their doors on Christmas Eve.
A senior Government source told the Irish Mirror when asked about haircuts and pints: “I’m afraid they’re off the table for now, until mid-summer really.”
He added: “They are not in the running at all for next Tuesday’s announcement.”
However, that's not to say that people have forgotten about what their favourite pubs look like?
