Dublin nightclub Copper Face Jacks are appealing for the return of the iconic sign that appears to have been removed overnight.
The sign had hung outside the building for many years but the famous club shared images on social media this afternoon that show it had been removed.
The popular watering hole sent out an appeal to gardai this afternoon asking for their assistance.

They said: "Hi An Garda Siochana , would you be able to help us? We seem to be missing something.
"Our iconic Coppers sign is missing/stolen. Any help appreciated."
The club and adjoining Jackson Court Hotel were put up for sale by owner Cathal Jackson last month.
The venue, which first opened in 1996, is reportedly expected to sell for up to €40 million.
Mr Jackson is selling the business as he has decided to retire.
Speaking about the decision to sell up, he said: "Over the past 23 years I have been totally committed to setting up and establishing Copper Face Jacks as one of the most enduring and successful entertainment venues in Ireland.
"It is now time to hand over the reins to new owners who have the energy and the expertise to take Coppers to the next level and to continue to deliver the 'best night out in Dublin' to all our great and loyal customers."
